At Tails and Trails, our passion lies in providing your dog with the ultimate outdoor adventure through our specialized hiking services. We take dogs on scenic, off-leash hikes around Salt Lake City, giving them the opportunity to explore, socialize, and enjoy nature.


These hikes are perfect for high-energy dogs that thrive in an outdoor environment, ensuring they return home happy, healthy, and well-exercised.

Free Meet and Greet

The initial meet and greet allows you to meet your Pet Sitter, Dog Hiker, or Dog Walker and provide them with detailed care instructions. During our consultation, we'll discuss your pet’s personality, play style, diet, medications, exercise routine, and health conditions.

These are free, no-obligation consultations.

Dog Hikes

We provide morning to afternoon off-leash dog hiking. Pick up & drop off from your home is included.


Our hikes will be between 3-5 Miles with small pack sizes at local Salt Lake City trails!

Drop-In Pet Sitting

Sometimes, all you need is someone to stop by the house and check in on your pet. I provide 30-minute visits for your pet. During our visit, I will feed your pet and provide love and attention. I will also empty out litter boxes, water plants, administer medication and take care of any other pet-related matters on request.

All dogs need exercise! Big or small, exercise helps dogs release stress and excess energy, behave better around the house, and maintain good health as they age.


I provide 30-minute dog walking services around your neighborhood or a nearby park.

In-Home Pet Sitting

We care for a variety of Pets: Cats, Dogs, Bunnies, Pond Fish, and others.

30-Minute Drop-In Visit: $35

30-minute visits to your home to care for your pets. Includes playtime and feeding, litter boxes scooped, and accidents cleaned. This can be tailored to your Pets specific needs!

60-Minute Drop-In Visit: $55

60-minute visits to your home to care for your pets. Includes everything in the 30-minute package plus a walk and plants are cared for as well if desired. This can be tailored to your Pets specific needs upon request!

Additional Pet's: $5 Each

Dog Walking

30-Minute Dog Walk: $35

We will come to your home and take your dog(s) on a 30-minute walk around your neighborhood while you focus on the day's tasks.

60-Minute Dog Walk: $55

We will come to your home and take your dog(s) on a 60-minute walk around your neighborhood or take them to a nearby park to get some exercise.

Additional Pet $5

Dog Hiking

Dog Hikes (Off Leash): $50 Per Dog

5-hour time frame:

Pickup: 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM

Drop-Off: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

We will pick up your dog(s) and take them for a three to five-mile hike with the pack. By sending your dog on a group hike with Tails and Trails you’ll socialize your pup with other dogs from the Salt Lake City area and give them the exercise they need to stay healthy and happy. After the hike, we drop them off at your house, Happy and Tired.

We will come to your home and trim your pet's nails.

Sub-Q Fluids: $30

We will come to your home and administer sub-q fluids.

Anal Gland Expression: $40

We will come to your home and express your pet's anal glands.
